Published by Tyler Graphics Ltd. in 1994, this portfolio contains nine miniature color reproductions from Roy Lichtenstein’s *Nudes* series, including *Nude Reading*, *Roommates*, *Two Nudes*, and alternate state versions. Bold outlines, Ben-Day dots, diagonal stripes, and vibrant colors bring Lichtenstein’s unmistakable Pop Art vocabulary to the classical nude.

Presented in an illustrated folder, the reproductions are accompanied by an essay by Marabeth Cohen-Tyler and photographs documenting the artist’s collaboration with the Tyler Graphics workshop. Combining striking imagery with insight into the printmaking process, this publication offers an engaging record of Lichtenstein’s late work. The images are reproductions of the original relief prints; the techniques, dimensions, and edition sizes printed beneath them refer to the original artworks.

About the Artist

Roy Lichtenstein

Roy Lichtenstein (1923–1997) was an American artist and a leading figure of Pop Art. Known for his bold outlines, flat colors, and signature Ben-Day dots, he transformed the visual language of comic books and commercial printing into monumental paintings. By isolating images intended for quick consumption and placing them in galleries, Lichtenstein invited viewers to reconsider familiar imagery. His work explored how emotions such as love, fear, and heroism could be conveyed through simplified visual codes, challenging traditional ideas of originality, expression, and fine art.
