Exhibition poster published by Gagosian Gallery, London, for Crash: Homage to J.G. Ballard, held February 11–April 1, 2010. The poster features Paul Delvaux’s Le Canapé Bleu from 1967, a haunting surrealist interior combining architectural space, nocturnal atmosphere, and the artist’s characteristic nude female figures.

Delvaux creates a dreamlike scene in which stillness, mystery, and classical beauty coexist with a cinematic sense of unease. The cool blue and gray palette is punctuated by the rich red drapery of the standing figure, giving the composition both depth and visual drama. Printed on glossy paper, this poster has strong decorative appeal and is especially suited to collectors of Surrealism, Belgian modernism, and important exhibition ephemera.

Please note: this example has visible fold lines, consistent with how it was issued or handled. Framing available upon request.
