Original exhibition poster published by Gagosian Gallery, London, for Crash: Homage to J.G. Ballard, held February 11–April 1, 2010. Issued in association with the Estate of J.G. Ballard, the poster features Douglas Gordon’s Self-Portrait of You + Me (Jayne Mansfield), 2007.

The image transforms a glamorous publicity-style portrait into something fragmented and unsettling, with the face partially burned or erased, leaving a dramatic void at the center. Gordon’s work often explores identity, memory, cinema, fame, and disappearance, making this image especially fitting for the Crash exhibition’s themes of violence, transformation, and psychological tension.

Printed on glossy paper and issued folded, with visible fold lines as typical for this series. A striking and collectible poster for admirers of Douglas Gordon, contemporary photography, cinema-related art, Gagosian exhibition ephemera, and J.G. Ballard’s cultural legacy. Framing available upon request.
