Since the mid 1990’s Frenchman Xavier Lavictoire has illustrated racing cars of the past… The years when drivers and machinery were not covered with sponsors logos; that of a time when drivers still appeared to us in a harmony with their machines. His technique of drawing in pencil and pastels lends itself perfectly to this nostalgic imagery. Xavier Lavictoire regularly exhibits his creations at Retromobile in Paris and his works are part of many collections of art lovers and motorsport enthusiasts worldwide.
