WOODY ALLEN` Bullets Over Broadway, 1994

Set in the roaring 1920s, "Bullets Over Broadway" follows David Shayne (played by John Cusack), a struggling, idealistic playwright desperate to get his latest work produced. To secure funding for the production, he agrees to let a notorious gangster, Nick Valenti, finance the show—but there's a catch. Valenti insists that his untalented, ditzy girlfriend, Olive Neal (Jennifer Tilly), be cast in one of the leading roles.
