David LaChapelle
American photographer and filmmaker David LaChapelle (b. 1963) is most renowned for his work in fashion, advertising, and Fine Arts. While in High School he landed his first job as photographer at Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine and has gone on to work for Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone Magazine and Vogue. LaChapelle's roster of subjects includes many celebrities such as Muhammad Ali, Jeff Koons, Leonardo DiCaprio, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Taylor, Lance Armstrong and Madonna. LaChapelle melds canonical images from art history and contemporary scenes and settings.
