HANS NAMUTH Portrait of Andy Warhol, 1982

Original exhibition poster issued by the Leo Castelli Gallery, New York, for the 1982 presentation of photographs by Hans Namuth. The image features a striking portrait of Andy Warhol set against a dramatic Baroque painting backdrop, blending contemporary art photography with classical imagery.

Portrait of Andy Warhol.

Signed by Hans Namuth in silver marker at lower right, adding desirable authenticity and collectibility.

A compelling piece that bridges two iconic figures of 20th-century art—Namuth, renowned for documenting artists at work, and Warhol, a central figure of Pop Art.
