PABLO PICASSO Arles, Musee Reattu, 1971
Musée Réattu, Arles, 1971. Original poster for the exhibition Dessins Inédits, printed by Mourlot in Paris as a color lithograph. The sheet measures 66 × 50 cm and is catalogued in Christoph Czwiklitzer, Pablo Picasso. Plakate 1923–1973, Werkverzeichnis (Munich: dtv, 1981), no. 394. The design presents two faces—one younger and one older—echoing Picasso’s late exploration of age, identity, and transformation. With its contrasting expressions and emotional intensity, the lithograph exemplifies Picasso’s mastery in depicting the human figure during his later period. This example remains in good overall condition.
