Juan Usle
Juan Uslé Oceja (b. 1954, Santander, Spain) is a celebrated contemporary painter known for his work blending abstraction and figurative elements. A graduate of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos de Valencia, Uslé received Spain's Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas in 2002. Splitting his time between New York City and Saro, Cantabria, his rhythmic, vibrant works draw from both urban and natural landscapes. His art has been featured in major retrospectives and is held in renowned collections, including the Tate and Guggenheim Bilbao.
