Walt Disney

Walt Disney (1901–1966) was an American entrepreneur, animator, and film producer, known for pioneering the animation industry. He won 22 Academy Awards from 59 nominations, the most by any individual, and received numerous other honors, including Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. Born in Chicago, Disney developed an early interest in drawing and became a commercial illustrator before moving to California in the 1920s. He co-founded Disney Brothers Studio with his brother Roy and created Mickey Mouse in 1928, which became a major success.
