Beatrix Potter
Beloved author of The Tale of Peter Rabbit (1902), Beatrix Potter was a Victorian era English
artist and author who greatly explored landscapes, flora, and fauna in her famed illustrations[1].
As she began drawing from a young age, Potter nurtured her craft and was later recognized as
renowned figure in the field of mycology for her skills and would also author an impressive total
of 30 children’s books.
While Potter is primarily recognized for her books, her illustrations have also been adapted into posters and other merchandise, contributing to the enduring popularity of her characters.
