About the Artist

Larry Dinkin

Larry Dinkin was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1943. He's images depict a personal universe-distilled landscapes bound only by their own reality. They strive for the flickering ambiguity of paint to dreamy vision, held fast within a structure that is both descriptive and dimensional. Dinkin has exhibited and published widely. His solo show Painting to Silkscreen was hosted at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum in 2007. His works appear in permanent collections and are represented by institutions like the Dayton Art Institute. These credentials—including museum shows, published projects, and consistent recognition—clearly position Larry Dinkin as a mature, well‑regarded artist rather than an emerging one.
